Introduction
HiPhorius™ is a fourth-generation phytase designed to enhance phosphorus digestibility in animal feed. It’s used primarily in poultry, swine, and aquaculture diets to break down phytate, thereby releasing usable phosphorus and improving nutrient absorption.
HiPhorius™ was launched around early 2022, building on the legacy of previous phytase products like RONOZYME® HiPhos

- HiPhorius™ 50 L: 88%–97% enzyme activity retained.
Heat stability
- Conditions: Mixed into mash feed for chickens at 1,500 FYT/kg feed, pelleted at 80°C or 90°C (2 min mixing time).
HiPhorius™ 10:
- 80°C: 93%–103% enzyme activity retained.
- 90°C: 91%–116% enzyme activity retained.
HiPhorius™ 40:
- 80°C: 79%–114% enzyme activity retained.
- 90°C: 70%–93% enzyme activity retained.
Homogeneity
1. HiPhorius™ 10:
- Mash Feed: Coefficient of variation = 20%.
- Pelleted Feed: Coefficient of variation = 14%.
2. Liquid Forms (HiPhorius™ 20 L & 50 L):
HiPhorius™ 20 L:
- Mash Feed: Coefficient of variation = < 1%.
- Pelleted Feed: Coefficient of variation = 7%.
- Extruded Feed (Aquaculture): Coefficient of variation = 7%.
HiPhorius™ 50 L:
- Mash Feed: Coefficient of variation = 4%.
- Pelleted Feed: Coefficient of variation = 5%.
- Extruded Feed (Aquaculture): Coefficient of variation = 7%.
Note: A Lower coefficient of variation indicates a more homogeneous distribution.
